I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1976, but my stay in the south was short, moving to South Bend, Indiana when I was three with my parents and my older brother.  I graduated from Indiana University in 1998 with a business degree and jumped into corporate life, going to work for a big pharma company for 15 years. With the growing feeling of being the lone barefoot hippie in a sea of suits,  a long-postponed desire to quit my job and move from the suburbs became reality. My husband and I sold the suburban 2 -story, I quit my job, and we moved our girls to a trailer in the country.

This blog is where I record our story.

Thank you for stopping in.
